The advantage of only posting when you have a little bit of time is that, looking back over old posts, it’s not difficult to figure out just what I was doing. And, now that we’re at the end of the year, let’s recap what my words have brought about:
- In January, I found out what it means to play possum.
- In February, I recapped running in the cold, in the early morning.
- In March, the Mad Woman declared me as stylish (she was, obviously, mistaken).
- In April, I actually launched daddyrunsalot.com and wrote about midget porn.
- In May, I declared myself as defective, I ran the Gettysburg marathon, I recapped a pretty scary time in my life while promoting mental health advocacy, and Let my alter ego in, to speat, at length, about boobs.
- In June, I recapped a crazy night as a father and reminisced about growing up with my grandfather & the opera.
- In July, I spent two weeks on vacation but did managed to write
a truly unintelligible missivea little bit about zombies. - In August, I recap my RABGRAI adventures and my beach adventures with the family and say the word “fuck” a whole lot.
- In September, I challenged y’all to figure out what you love about yourselves
- In October, I contemplated what a full day to myself might look like and I ran away from zombies.
- In November, I recap the Harrisburg Marathon both with a lot of words and worldlessly.
- This past month, I’ve Relived my favorite memory and reflected on this time of year.
Thank you, one and all, for putting up with me following along 🙂
You wrote about midget porn and zombies? You are an awesome man.
Midget porn & zombies are in my wheelhouse . . . I’ve been working on a posts on religion & the education system . . . they’re, um, not coming along so well.
But, of course I’m awesome. I mean, I’m me!
Those are two tough ones. I’ve been working on a religion one do to my upbringing and it’s rough. I don’t want to come off like a well a female
dog in it. 😉
I love the variety in your blog topics. Some blogs are so one-dimensional. Yours is definitely not. Marathons to midget porn and alter egos to zombies, it’s a good read 🙂
Stopped by from Mama Kat’s today. Glad I did.
Yay, for new readers!
I like “not one-dimensional” to describe my blog topics . . . as opposed to “truly chaotic.”
Agreed! The variety of topics is definitely a refreshing break from many parents’ blogs. (I, too, stopped by from Mama Kat.)
I’m not going to comment about zombies or midget porn.
I will, however, comment about when you had to say “fuck” a lot. Unfortunately, it’s true what they say: haters gonna hate. Let them live with their own misery.
well, if you ever change your mind about commenting about zombies or midget porn, you know where to go 🙂
Thanks for letting me know you stopped by.
Great recap! I love a blog with variety 🙂
I’ll take variety over “can’t make up his mind about what he wants to write about.” So thank you 🙂
And here I thought I was the only person who enjoyed discussing midget porn, food porn, and well, porn in general. Here’s to another year of porn…whatever kind floats your boat! 😉
Happy New Year, Johnny B!
Happy (porn-filled) New Year, Eve!
Love this recap post – some amazing writing’s here & yes the midget porn is one of the best ones 🙂 wishing you and your family all the best in 2012!!
The midget porn was a very, very fun post to write.
Thank you, Devan.
Love the recap, you! Happy 2012 to you and your’s!
And to you, Galit!
And I enjoyed it all!!
Glad you did 🙂
I think I started following you close to the beginning of this year and look forward to another. Happy New Year.
Yeah, I seem to remember finding funny or snot right around the time I opened up things on WordPress.com.
Yes, many more years of entertaining blogging 🙂
I like how zombies made the list more than once.
Of course they did! This year, I might be going with a “Frankenstein’s Monster” theme. That’s, I think, where the next supernatural book phenomenon is.
You had me at midget porn.
I admit it… I had to click over once I got to April. Way to suck me in.
Midget porn works every time 🙂
Thanks for stopping by.
Aw, memories. I went back and relived the boob memories. Those are always the best.
p.s. How do you get your instagram photos to show up on your sidebar? I just love the way you have it look!
Boob memories are the best sorts of memories!
The instagram photos are there with the InstagramWidget Plugin.
You and I started around the same time! I started at the end of March. Time flies, hmmm?
Yes, time flies — and always takes along with a memorable journey 🙂
You are brilliant. Do you mind if I steal this formula and do the same on my blog? I will, of course, give you a shout out. I have to being family and all. ;0)

Yes, please do — while I think I’ve read everything you’ve written, I’d love to take a tour & re-walk through your favorites
